The 2004 Beneteau Oceanis 473 Clipper - 4 cabin version, J.P Carine, is a well-known cruising yacht recognised for its generous interior volume, practical layout, and comfortable sailing characteristics. Designed for both family cruising and charter use, this model offers spacious accommodation and a bright interior thanks to large hull windows, deck hatches, and the wide beam carried well into the living areas.
The yacht was used for charter operations in Turkey between 2004 and 2010. In 2011, the current owners purchased the boat in Turkey and have used her privately since then. According to the owners, the yacht has mainly cruised in the Aegean and Mediterranean waters. She is currently offered for sale by her third owners, two British partners.
Entering the yacht J.P Carine from the cockpit, you descend the companionway steps into the main saloon, which immediately offers a sense of space and light. The saloon forms the central living area onboard. A large U-shaped seating area with a substantial dining table provides comfortable seating for several guests, while an additional settee opposite creates a practical and sociable lounge environment. The interior joinery is finished in warm mahogany tones, and the generous headroom enhances the overall feeling of space and comfort.
The galley is located on the port side, positioned close to the companionway for easy access and ventilation. It is equipped with a double stainless-steel sink, a gas stove with oven, a large refrigerator, and ample storage space for provisions, cookware, and kitchen equipment, making it practical for both daily use and extended cruising.
Opposite the galley on the starboard side is the navigation station, which includes a dedicated chart table, electrical panels, and space for navigation and communication equipment.
Aft of the saloon, two spacious double cabins are located beneath the cockpit, one on the port side and one on the starboard side. Each cabin offers a comfortable double berth, hanging lockers, shelves for personal belongings, and opening ports providing natural ventilation and natural light.
Moving forward from the saloon toward the bow, the yacht features two additional cabins. The forward cabin offers a double berth with storage lockers and an opening deck hatch for natural light and ventilation. The starboard forward cabin is arranged as a bunk cabin with upper and lower berths, making it particularly suitable for additional guests or crew.
The yacht is equipped with three head compartments located in different sections of the boat, providing convenient access and privacy for guests on board. Each head compartment includes a marine toilet, washbasin, and shower.
Although the yacht is currently operational and no major defects have been reported, due to her age, certain renewal works are recommended. These include the replacement of the hatch and portlight acrylics, renewal of the standing rigging as a precautionary measure, inspection of the running rigging with replacement of some lines where necessary, refurbishment of the teak areas on the swimming platform and cockpit, varnishing of the locker tops in the aft cabins, refurbishment of the heads compartments, servicing of the engine, and completion of the routine pre-season underwater maintenance.
For this reason, the asking price has been set at a realistic, attractive level, offering a strong opportunity for buyers seeking a spacious cruising yacht with strong potential after cosmetic and maintenance updates.
Yacht viewings are available during weekday working hours, except on Sundays. Appointments are mandatory, and prospective buyers are kindly requested to schedule their visit at least three days before the planned viewing date.
