This classic motor-sailer, developed by Finland’s prestigious designer Kaj

The SY Lafortunata, with its durable and strong design, guarantees safety in all

weather conditions. It offers a distinct comfort zone on board with its high-ceiling aft and fore cabins, a bunk cabin, panoramic windows, a bright and comfortable saloon, a large cockpit, and a practical pilot house.

Access to the vessel is via the spacious cockpit on the deck. The cockpit area serves

as both a broad and comfortable social gathering space and provides quick access to most of the vessel’s controls. Thanks to two steering wheels, navigation can be

conducted both from inside (pilot house) and outside (cockpit).

The boat can be operated from the interior. The pilot house, where the steering

wheel and navigation equipment are controlled, is equipped with comfortable seats, good visibility, and all necessary electronic instrumentation. The engine room is easily accessible and arranged to facilitate maintenance work. SY Lafortunata is powered by a strong 115-horsepower 6-cylinder Cummins diesel engine that delivers balanced performance during motor cruising and manoeuvres.

Descending from the deck, you enter a wide and airy saloon. The panoramic

windows flood the saloon with natural light, making it ideal for relaxing while enjoying the sea view. One corner of the saloon features comfortable seating and a table, which can be used for dining, conversation, or leisure. Two steps forward from the saloon towards the bow lead to a fully equipped galley. The spacious countertops, cupboards, and modern appliances ensure comfortable use of the kitchen.

At the bow, there is a comfortable cabin with a double bed, and immediately behind it, another double cabin with bunk beds. The forward cabin offers ample storage space and provides comfortable movement room on the starboard side of the bed.

The aft cabin also features a large and comfortable bed with good movement space around it, and is typically used as the master cabin. Both cabins are equipped with high ceilings and good ventilation. The yacht includes two bathrooms with toilets; these bathrooms are functional and sufficiently sized, offering both shower and toilet options. SY Lafortunata is an ideal long-distance sailing yacht with spacious living areas, high comfort, sturdy construction, and reliable sailing performance.

The yacht is currently located in Seferihisar, İzmir, and is ready to sail. Renovations carried out by the current owner, particularly during 2023-2024, are detailed in the inventory list provided below. Priced at €230,000, the yacht is being sold by the third owner due to health reasons.
