SV NOVA VIDA Teak Renovation
Updated: Feb 16, 2022

Nova Vida is hull number 8 of the beautiful Najad 570 line. Built in Orust, Sweden in 2007, she is a cutter rigged sloop with a displacement of 28,000 KG. At 17.5 meters in length, this is the upper limit for the owner to handle. She’s been setup for short handed sailing and Najad has a reputation for building some of the best world cruising sailboats on the market.
Above deck, Nova Vida boasts a large center cockpit with 2 helm stations, hydraulic in mast and headsail furling as well as a removable inner forestay. She has a raised deck saloon, allowing for increased volume and plenty of natural light down below. The large main saloon is a natural gathering point for anyone on board, and guests can be accommodated in one of the four cabins.
Although lightly used by her previous owners, the boat required several upgrades to kit her out for long distance travel and safe world cruising. During her refit in Marmaris, Turkey in Winter 2021, new teak decks were laid, new standing and running rigging installed, anchoring equipment was upgraded, new lithium batteries were installed, and various maintenance completed.
You can check the boat's current location from here and enjoy with the teak deck renovation which has been done by the TMS Yacht Sales & Services below.
