Bénéteau reworked Bruce Farr’s Océanis 440 of the previous year to launch its assault on the centre-cockpit market in 1993. She was subsequently given the Clipper treatment and remains in production. The boat has a more conventional forecabin with a twin-bunked cabin just aft of it. The latter can be converted into a workroom instead. The central part of the hull features a comfortable saloon with a dinette on one side and easy chairs to port, one of which also acts as the seat for the aft-facing chart table. The galley, in the passage to the aft cabin, is well-appointed. The owner’s suite aft is huge and the heads compartment includes a decent-sized hip bath. She is a heavy boat, and takes a fair bit of wind to get going.

The current owner owned the vessel since 2006. The boat is in great condition and all of the maintenances has been done by the owner regulary. The teak decks renewed in 2021.
