Recalling the classic elegance of the grand seafaring yachts of yesterday, Sun Odyssey 49DS benefits from the design talents of today's top naval architects, Philippe Briand for the high-performance hull and Vittorio Garroni for the pure, graceful lines. SY Karisma Sen was built in France in 2007 by Jeanneau. While the specific number of hulls produced, this model has been well-regarded for its sailing performance and comfort features.

SY Karisma Sen is a good boat that offers enjoyable sailing performance and comfort. It is praised for its sailing capabilities, with a powerful sail area/displacement ratio that allows for impressive performance even in breezy conditions. Please note that the boat was refitted between February 2024 and July 2024.

The cockpit area of SY Karisma Sen is designed with comfort and functionality in mind, featuring various amenities for an enjoyable sailing experience. Teak cockpit bench seats and floor, a large table with seating area, twin bottle gas locker and two lockers under helm seats with technical compartment access panels, floor storage locker with teak grate between helm stations, two leathered steering wheels and compasses with stainless steel handrail, cockpit table with folding leaves, central storage, and glass holder and electronic instruments are contributing to a comfortable and functional cockpit area suitable for relaxation and enjoyment while sailing. The chart plotter’s screen was renewed by AC&DC Marine due to the sunburned areas.

The saloon of the SY Karisma Sen is designed to provide a comfortable living space. The master cabin is particularly spacious, featuring a 2-meter long island double bed. The cabins have a traditional satin teak joinery, a desk with an ottoman, plenty of bookshelves, and clothes storage. SY Karisma Sen has extensive storage of tools and spare parts in the lockers of the cabins and under the chart table. The owner's ensuite includes a separate shower stall and an electric toilet, ensuring comfort and convenience. The cabins are designed to provide a cosy and inviting space for passengers, with attention to detail in terms of storage, comfort, and aesthetics. These features make the saloon and cabins of Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49 DS well-suited for extended stays onboard, providing a comfortable and enjoyable living environment while sailing.

The boat was hauled out on 20 May 2024. The teak deck of the swim platform and the teak step located at the aft were renewed. Floors, companion stairs and some bulkheads were varnished inside the saloon. Refrigerators are fully serviced. All gas rams for the lockers and the fridges were renewed. Brand new sprayhood, bimini top, cockpit cushions and sun beds were installed. Steering wheels and sprayhood handrails are also covered with leather. Sails were checked by UK Sail Makers. Sail’s UV covers were also renewed and the sails were checked by Sharp Marine, too. Sails were reported in good condition by two companies. All of the hatch windows are renewed on the same date. The engine, transmission, engine cooling system, generator, electrical winches, windlass, Spectra water maker and water pump for the air condition units were fully serviced by Marlin Yachting. Cutlass bearing, rudder bearing, and deep seal were also renewed by TMS Yachting. Ceiling lamps were replaced with LED lamps. The original standing rigging was renewed by M2 Rigging here in Marmaris in 2022.

The boat’s hull was re-painted due to the particular sunburned areas. Water line stickers were removed and painted. Two coats of antifouling paint (Micron Extra) application was applied after changing some sea cocks which need to be renewed under the hull. The boat has four air condition units which are working in good order right now.

The boat has a powerful 110 Hp Yanmar diesel engine instead of 75Hp with only 1620 hours. As TMS Yachting, Marlin Yachting and AC&DC Marine, we can share all the mechanic service records and standing rigging reports of the boat with serious potential buyers.

Please note that this is our boat. The boat is owned by a company (EGESMAJHA LLC) located in Delaware and registered in the United Kingdom. Potential buyers can buy the vessel with the company. In this case, they can use the current UK registry for 5 (five) years for free.

The mooring place of SY Karisma Sen is included in the asking price. The new owner will have the right to keep the boat in Marmaris Yacht Marina until August 2025. If the new owner wants to check out from the marina right after the sale, the asking price will be revised accordingly. The boat is really in excellent condition and looks like a brand-new boat. She is a good opportunity for potential buyers who want to keep the boat in the South Aegean in a well-protected marina.

SY Karisma Sen is moored in Marmaris Yacht Marina. She is for sale from a third (from us) owner. We know all about the previous owners. The boat has never been chartered and she was used privately by the previous owners. The boat demonstrations will be held during the working hours of the week including Saturdays. Do not need to make appointments to see the boat. Potential buyers will be welcomed by us during the working hours of the day except Sundays.
