Moody 471Custom has a sensible layout. She has a fore toilet, washbasin, shower, storage lockers, doors to the forepeak, and both forward cabins. Forward Guest Cabins (2) are one to port, and one to starboard, each with upper and lower berths at the ship's sides, hanging lockers, and cupboards.

'U' shaped settee to starboard with smaller 'U' shaped settee opposite (seats 8 in total) and bookcases/lockers fitted to ship's sides in the saloon Dining table is centrally mounted with large foldout leaves. The galley is 'L' shaped to starboard, cooker, twin stainless steel sinks, hot and cold water, refrigerator, aft of the galley is a hanging locker/oilskin locker. The chart table is located at the port side of the saloon. The aft toilet split into two areas with the shower compartment and an oilskin locker forward and marine WC and basin aft. There are doors to the chart table and aft cabin. There is a central double berth, settee and wardrobe to starboard, and dressing table, in the aft cabin. Moody 471 Custom had a built-in transom bathing platform and teak decks (replaced in 2005).

The boat is for sale from the second owner. She is in very good condition when you take into consideration the boat's age. She has been maintained by us (TMS) and upgraded by the owner regularly. The boat is fully equipped for immediate sailing (galley/bedding/tools/spares etc.) Demonstrations will be made during the working hours of the week. Appointments are needed to see the boat.
