1996 Beneteau Oceanis 381 For Sale - Sold

Updated: 4 days ago

Beneteau's 381 comes to us from designer J. Berret-Racoupeau. The overall look is on the nebulous side. The deck is quite rounded and softened. The hull of the 381 is shapely and appears to have the promise of good performance. The entry is reasonably fine and the stern is broad on deck but not nearly as boxlike as so many foreign models. Overall, the hull is a pretty racy shape for a cruising boat.

She was bought by the current owner in 1996 at the London Boat Show in the UK. The owner sailed the boat from the Indian Ocean and entered Turkish waters in 2002. SY Diamond has twin staterooms aft, extending under the cockpit sole, one master cabin forward with en-suite WC, and a galley adjacent to the companionway. There are two heads with manual Jabsco pumps. 8 people can easily accommodated with the help of a convertible saloon. Diamond’s spacious cockpit and interior would make her a fantastic pick for the cruising couple or family looking for a roomy layout in an easily handled and managed size.

The boat’s furniture and the floors are in good condition. The 3GM30F Yanmar engine works great and only takes 1593 hours to operate. The main mast is extended to the keel. The boat's standing rigging is original factory setup and rust is observed on the keel bolts. There are 2 (two) solar panels which are working in good order. The fridge’s compressor was also renewed by the owner and working great.

The owner lives in the UK and will be back in Turkey in September 2024 for a sailing trip. SY Diamond is for sale from the first owner. The owner is willing to quit boating.

SY Diamond is moored in Marmaris Yacht Marina. The boat demonstrations will be held during the week's working hours, including Saturdays. Appointments are needed to see the boat. Please make an appointment at least 3 (three) days before your future visit.
